I'd have to go with the 1976 Olds 442. Always been a favorite and my dad owned 2 of em. Got to drive one for awhile in high school. (76 was a crappy year for muscle cars  )

You so old they didn't have cars then or just didn't have cameras to take pics?? Maybe they only made a prototype? I tried to post a pic, but I failed I tried to delete the post entirely, but as you can see that was equally as successful ! My tastes will prolly surprise you..... I can not whittle it down to just 1 I have narrowed it down to a four way tie, with an honorable mention. Any one of the following I would be completely fine with: 1964 Imperial 2 door convertible, medium blue with white interior and top 1964 Cadillac Coupe de Ville Convertible, Garnet red with a white interior and top 1964 Lincoln Continental 4 door convertible, White with a red interior and white top 1964 Buick Riviera, Black with black leather interior An honorable mention goes to a: 1964 Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing Coupe, medium blue If prototypes are allowed, then hands down the 1964 Pontiac Banshee, which Chevrolet stole the designs for the second gen Corvette !! I would trade any of the above for the Banshee the styling on any of those 5 were just right on the mark Now if any of those who can criticize can put up a pic of these cars........

The split window vette is the ticket. You guys just weren't fortunate enough to be born that year.

The split window vette is the ticket. You guys just weren't fortunate enough to be born that year. The ticket to a chiropractor. Yes, although those cars were and are styled beautifully and the rarity of a split window, well it is very nice to see. Have you ever driven one? Split window, convertible or hardtop? The brakes were top of the line for that year, but they still suck The handling - well there is a lot of room for improvement Comfort - Corvette addressed that in the 70's and improved on that in the 90's
